Each lot is evaluated and roast-profiled before it moves into regular production. Once that profile is dialed in, coffee is roasted in small batches based on current demand.

Then you order.

Your coffee gets roasted, packed, and shipped fresh instead of being pulled from a warehouse full of finished bags waiting for somebody to eventually buy them.

We handle the brand, the lineup, the bad jokes, and deciding what deserves the Dead Tired name.

Our roasting partner handles the part they are much better at.

Then the coffee heads your way. Freshly resurrected.

That is why every Dead Tired coffee starts with specialty-grade green coffee and a supplier we trust to care about more than what the beans cost that day.

Coffee is evaluated for cup quality, farming and processing practices, sustainability, and responsible trade before it ever becomes something we can put in a Dead Tired bag.

Some lots carry third-party certifications. Some do not.

The standard does not disappear when the logo does.

From there, every lot gets its own roast profile with one goal in mind: make the coffee taste like the coffee it is supposed to be.

That is how you end up with a quality of cup you are not going to find just anywhere.

Because consistency should not mean roasting everything until it tastes the same.

It should mean the coffee you loved last time still feels like the coffee you came back for.

Some coffees cost us more to source. Some are more complicated blends. Some require different processes.

That is our problem, not yours.

We price our 12 oz coffees consistently so you can choose based on what you actually want to drink, not which level of good coffee you can justify buying.
