From Grave to Cup
Specialty-Grade Coffee, Roasted After You Order
Dead Tired Coffee Co. starts with specialty-grade coffee selected for quality, consistency, and flavor.
Instead of keeping large amounts of roasted coffee sitting on a shelf, our coffee is roasted after your order is placed. That means your bag begins its journey to you fresh from the roasterโnot after spending months waiting in a warehouse or grocery-store aisle.
Step 1: You Choose Your Coffee
Pick the blend that fits your particular level of exhaustion.
Our lineup includes light, medium, medium-dark, and dark roasts, along with flavored coffee, high-caffeine blends, decaf, cold-brew coffee, and seasonal releases.
Most coffees are available in whole bean or your preferred grind, so you can order them for the brewing method you use at home.
Step 2: Our Roasting Partner Gets to Work
Once your order is placed, it is sent to our roasting and fulfillment partner.
They roast the coffee according to the profile created for that blend, then grind it when requested, package it in its Dead Tired bag, and prepare it for shipment.
We create and manage the Dead Tired brand, product lineup, blend concepts, artwork, and customer experience. Our roasting partner provides the professional roasting and fulfillment operation that allows every bag to be prepared fresh for your order.
Step 3: It Ships Directly to You
Your coffee ships from the roasting facility directly to your door. This avoids sending it through another warehouseโor making it take a strange little road trip to Michigan before turning around and heading back to you.
Coffee orders include free shipping within the United States.
Because the coffee is roasted to order, there is a short processing period before it ships. That extra time is the difference between coffee roasted for your order and coffee pulled from a shelf.
Step 4: You Brew the Resurrection
Once it arrives, brew it however you like: drip machine, pour-over, French press, espresso, cold brew, or the coffee maker you have been threatening to clean for the last six months.
Drink it black. Add cream. Add sugar. Build something elaborate enough to qualify as dessert. We are not here to judge your cup.
We just believe everything you add should start with good specialty-grade coffee.
Why Roasted to Order?
Coffee begins losing aroma and flavor after roasting. Roasting after an order is placed helps shorten the time between the roaster and your first cup.
It also allows us to offer a broad collection without keeping piles of aging roasted inventory on hand. Your coffee is prepared because you ordered itโnot because a bag has been waiting for someone to buy it.
Specialty-grade. Roasted to order. Shipped free. Made for the restless.
