We wanted the decaf to stand on its own instead of feeling like the backup option.
Peru gives Silent Repose the same smooth, approachable comfort zone that makes Haunted House easy to like. The Swiss Water Process removes the vast majority of the caffeine using water, temperature, and carbon filtration rather than traditional chemical-solvent decaffeination.

Try it black first. Decaf has spent enough years being blamed for bad coffee that it deserves a fair trial. You can always add cream or sugar afterward.

Is decaf completely caffeine-free?
No. Decaf coffee still contains a small amount of residual caffeine. The goal is dramatically less caffeine, not literally zero molecules of it.
What is Swiss Water Process?
It is a decaffeination process that uses water, temperature, and filtration to remove caffeine from green coffee rather than relying on traditional chemical-solvent decaffeination.
How is Silent Repose related to Haunted House?
They live in the same Peru family. Haunted House is our caffeinated medium-roast single-origin Peru, while Silent Repose is the Swiss Water decaf counterpart for when you want the ritual with much less caffeine.
Are the tasting notes added flavors?
No. Unless a coffee is specifically labeled flavored, tasting notes describe flavors naturally perceived in the coffee from origin, processing, roast, and brewing.
