Peppermint does not need much help taking over.
A light/medium roast gives Crimson Frost enough coffee character to stay grounded without stacking a heavy roast profile underneath an already distinctive candy-cane flavor. The result stays cleaner, brighter, and easier to drink.
Basically, we gave the candy cane some room without handing it the keys.

Crimson Frost works well in regular drip, pour-over, French press, and most everyday brewing methods.
Try the first few sips black. The peppermint-style flavor is already there, and adding a lot of cream immediately can soften both the coffee and the mint. If you want to take it somewhere sweeter or vaguely peppermint-mocha adjacent afterward, nobody is stopping you.

What does Candy Cane coffee taste like?

Why use a Light/Medium roast underneath peppermint?
Peppermint does not need a heavy roast competing with it. The lighter base keeps the cup cleaner and gives the candy-cane character room to show up without burying the coffee.
Does flavored coffee have added sugar?
No. Our flavored coffees do not have added sugar or sweeteners. The flavor is added to the coffee, but the cup is not pre-sweetened.
Is the flavor artificial?
No. Our flavored coffees use natural flavoring. We do not add artificial flavoring, sweeteners, or filler.
